PBSO Investigating Shooting In Boca Raton
BOCA RATON (CBSMiami) – Police are investigating, and SWAT on scene, for a domestic disturbance between a man and woman inside a home with two children inside.
Police were called to a home Friday, shortly after 7 p.m., for a shooting in the 8000 block of Via Di Veneto in Boca Raton.
There was a domestic disturbance, according to Palm Beach Sheriff's Office, between a male and female, relationship not known, which ended with the female shot in the leg.
Two children were inside the home at the time of the shooting, according to police. One child was unharmed, but police said that a second child may have been shot in the abdomen.
The adult was transported to Delray Medical Center. Her condition, and that of the child, is unknown.
