Broward Pastor Accused Of Stealing Church Donations

PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) – A local pastor is under arrest, accused of stealing church donations.

According to the Pembroke Pines Police, longtime pastor Jules Derosier, 56, stole the checks, all of which had been made payable to the New Life Assembly of God, and deposited them into his personal checking account.

The checks, which totaled nearly $3,000, were drawn off the accounts of four church members.

Church representatives became aware of the missing checks in April. Police reports indicate the checks had been written to New Life Assembly of God between September 2012 and February 2013.e to the New Life Assembly of God.

Mr. Derosier turned himself in to Pembroke Pines Police Detectives and was charged with Grand Theft.
