Lopez’s aunt, 30-year old Yulia Torres was the victim of a vicious and deadly stabbing allegedly at the hands of her husband. Police haven’t released their identities but neighbors say they watched the couple get rushed off in ambulances after a violent domestic dispute.

“My dog started barking. He went to the door and started scratching it. I heard this bang. And this broke and everybody went inside and called the police. She was screaming,” said neighbor Daineys Rodriguez.

She wasn’t the only one who heard the screaming from apartment 4.  Other neighbors say they could also hear the fighting between Yulia and her husband.  Relatives say the couple has a history of problems and on Thursday night things boiled over.
