Investigators Determined Cause Of NW Miami-Dade Fire
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- City of Miami Fire Rescue crews quickly put out a fire at a home in Northwest Miami-Dade and rescued a dog inside Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to a call at 4:30 p.m. for a home located at 3094 NW 13 street.
According to City of Miami Fire Rescue, heavy flames and smoke were billowing out of the home when they arrived but firefighters were able to put it out. They searched the house for victims and rescued a female pit bull. No one else was inside at the time of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
Fire investigators have determined the fire was accidental. The blaze started due to an electrical overload in the front of the house.
