MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A teen remains in critical condition after he was hit by a car over weekend.
It happened Sunday evening around 8 p.m. in the intersection of Kendall Drive and SW 77th Avenue.

After the accident, the driver of the black Nissan, identified as 21-year old Trevor Renner from North Carolina, stopped and remained on the scene for the police.

Investigators said it does not appear that alcohol played a role in the accident.
