Police Investigate Double Shooting In Lauderhill
LAUDERHILL (CBSMiami) – Investigators are still trying to determine what led to a shooting Wednesday evening in Lauderhill which injured two men.
"There's a lot of witnesses. This is a very crowded street at this hour of the evening. We're still combing through that information to determine the cause and what kind of suspect information we may have," said Lauderhill police spokesman Lt. Greg Solowsky.
It happened just before 7 p.m. a couple of blocks south of Oakland Park Boulevard near 27th Court. Investigators said after the shooting one victim remained on 27th court while the other victim ran one block north to 28 Street.
Both victims were alert after being shot and one was taken by ground to the hospital while the other was taken by air.
Investigators are now reviewing calls made to 911 about the shooting to see if they can identify someone with specific information about it.
