Team Likely Story used a schematic found online that helped keep their swift watercraft of corrugated plastic, plywood, zip ties and duct tape together.

Awarded best two-person boat, the “Barnacle Babes and the Big Blue Whale” garnered crowd-pleaser kudos for their converted 50-gallon recycled blue drum barrel boat.

The regatta’s half-mile course was positioned behind Sundowners Restaurant in Key Largo.
