Arrest In North Miami Denny's Shooting
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A woman is recovering after she was shot in the face early Monday morning at a Denny's restaurant in North Miami.
The man who shot her has been taken into custody.
It happened around 21:30 a.m. in the Denny's at NE 121st Street and Biscayne Boulevard.
Brooke Tuchinsky got into a fight with her ex-boyfriend, identified as 37-year old Sean Barnes, according to police. When Tuchinsky got up to use the restroom, he reportedly followed and shot her in the face.
Tuchinsky was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital where she was listed as stable.
