GOLDEN BEACH (CBS4) – Former NBA superstar center Shaquille O’Neal has another job to add to his ever-growing resume.
According to CBS4 News partner The Miami Herald, Shaq was officially sworn in as a part-time Golden Beach Police officer Tuesday during a ceremony in front of city mayor Glenn Singer.READ MORE: New Study Finds Growing Number Of Young People Suffering From Climate Change Anxiety
The former Miami Heat star, who was also once a reserve officer for Miami Beach’s force, reunited with his former boss, Police Chief Don DeLucca. DeLucca was once the chief of the MBPD.READ MORE: Texas-Style Abortion Bill Filed in Florida
As for his role as law enforcement in the city, that has yet to be determined. Shaq currently serves as a contributor to TNT’s ‘Inside The NBA” studio show during the NBA season.
