MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The NBA fined Miami Heat superstar LeBron James and Indiana Pacers stars David West and Lance Stephenson $5,000 for “flopping” in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Flopping refers to typically overacting by players to any small contact in an attempt to get a foul called against the other team. James drew extra scrutiny from fans and some in the media when he said before Game 4 that he doesn’t have a problem with flopping.
