LeBron & 2 Pacers Hit With Flopping Fines

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The NBA fined Miami Heat superstar LeBron James and Indiana Pacers stars David West and Lance Stephenson $5,000 for "flopping" in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Flopping refers to typically overacting by players to any small contact in an attempt to get a foul called against the other team. James drew extra scrutiny from fans and some in the media when he said before Game 4 that he doesn't have a problem with flopping.

LeBron and West were fined for flopping on the same play during the fourth quarter of Game 4.

Stephenson was fined for flopping in a blatant attempt to get a foul called against Heat guard Ray Allen.

Still, it's not like LeBron will feel the fine in his wallet. According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, LeBron made approximately $4,458 per in game minute this season, making his fine essentially a little more than a minute of a game check.
