The flight took-off, but upon arrival at MIA, the plane was confined to a safe area where local law enforcement authorities could question the passenger, and that passenger’s two companions, associated with the suspicious bag.

All passengers clear of suspicion were allowed to exit the plane to return to the terminal.

Eventually the bag was found to contain various electronic devices yet no indication that the bag was a threat to public safety.
