Neighbors 4 Neighbors Launches New Website To Help S. Floridians In Need

MIAMI (CBS4) - Neighbors 4 Neighbors is launching an exciting new web initiative that makes it easy for people to share their talents to help neighbors in need.

It's called HelpingFeelsGood.org and it connects people to local organizations and simple projects where they can help others.

Volunteers register their areas of interest and expertise and the site matches them with service projects submitted by dozens of non-profits in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

Together with their partners, HandsOn Broward and The Miami Foundation, Neighbors 4 Neighbors has spent the last two years building the site as a resource for both volunteers and local non-profits.

Non-profit participants like, Casa Valentina, an agency dedicating to help young adults as they age our of foster care are looking forward to generating awareness about the work they do and meeting new volunteers through the site.

"[We are] so excited to participate in this new initiative launching today!" said  the agency's Executive Director, Deborah Korge.

Neighbors 4 Neighbors has hopes of engaging with both volunteers and agencies through the site and social media.
