Lindsay Lohan Lawsuit Chewed Up By Pitbull's Lawyers

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Pitbull won't be paying Lindsay Lohan a penny.

His team of Miami attorneys successfully defended the rapper against a defamation lawsuit by actress Lindsay Lohan.

Pitbull's win in the case was blasted around the world Friday morning, after U.S. District Judge Denis Hurley of New York dismissed Lohan's complaint on Thursday, the South Florida Business Journal reported Friday. News outlets carrying the story varied from MTVto the Cleveland Leader to the New York Law Journal.

The judge ruled that Pitbull referencing Lohan's name once in the song "Give Me Everything" was a "protected work of art" and also was "fleeting and incidental" in usage.

Not only did Pitbull (Armando Christian Perez) win, but his attorneys also skewered Lohan's attorneys with sanctions for plagiarism.
