MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Heat will have a different lineup on the floor Thursday night than they have in recent weeks after power forward Udonis Haslem didn’t make the trip to Oklahoma City, according to the Palm Beach Post.
Haslem had a slight leg injury from Tuesday’s victory over the Portland Trail Blazers and will instead have a seven-day break thanks to the All-Star break starting after Thursday night’s game against Oklahoma City.
In Haslem’s place will step Shane Battier. He will start alongside Mario Chalmers, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh. Oklahoma City is no stranger to seeing that lineup as that was the lineup Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra used against Oklahoma City in last year’s NBA Finals.
