Bicyclist Killed In NE Dade Hit & Run Accident
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A bicyclist died after being struck by a car on Ives Dairy Road.
The Florida Highway Patrol's Joe Sanchez said a black Dodge Charger was heading west on Ives Dairy Road early around 3:40 a.m. Sunday when the driver struck and killed a person on a bike near NE 13th Court.
The driver then sped off.
Several people who witnessed the crash followed the Charger and were able to provide the FHP with a description of the driver and a possible license tag number.
FHP investigators are working to track down that driver.
