Tuesday, BSO officials said their investigators spoke to the 18-year-old student at the center of the controversy. She told investigators it was consensual sex and since she’s 18, the legal age to have sex, there was no legal wrong-doing.
In addition, BSO investigated the alleged sexual texting incident and found it not to be criminal.
School officials said they were unaware of who made the complaint against Korsun.MORE NEWS: Florida Is Ditching Palm Trees To Fight Climate Crisis
”The district’s immediate response was a district reassignment and to open an investigation to determine what is going on and whether the allegations have merit,” said Drew.
