Woman Struck, Killed By Train In Northeast Miami-Dade
NORTHEAST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – A woman was struck and killed by a train early Thursday afternoon.
The woman, whose identity remains unknown, was hit at the intersection of NE 186 Street and West Dixie Highway at about 1 p.m.
According to officials, the woman was carrying a college ID and is in her 20s or 30s.
It is not known why she was on the tracks. Miami-Dade police are still investigating.
