Giant Snake Found At Key West Airport

KEY WEST (CBSMiami) – It wasn't snakes on a plane but a snake at the airport that turned heads at Key West International Airport.

A 10-foot long snake was found Thursday slithering in the grass near the edge of the airport's commercial ramp, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

The snake was turned over to officials at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Authorities didn't say what kind of snake it was.
