S. Fla. Principal Accused Of Soliciting "Teen" Online

BOYNTON BEACH (CBSMiami) – Bond was set at $500,000 for the principal of a South Florida middle school charged with child exploitation and traveling to meet a minor for sex.

Boynton Beach police arrested Scott Blake Thursday night and charged him with computer pornography, child exploitation and traveling to meet a minor to commit an unlawful act, according to authorities.

Police said Blake, who is the principal of Polo Park Middle School in Wellington, sent pictures of himself and posted suggestive comments to an undercover detective posing as a 15-year-old boy during online chats.

About a week later, he arranged to meet the "boy" in Boynton Beach.

Police said Blake drove around the parking lot of the meeting place for about 15 minutes before police conducted a traffic stop and arrested him.

Blake has been placed on house arrested and ordered to have no contact with minors.
