2 Dead After Goulds Bar Shootout
GOULDS (CBSMiami) - Police are investigating a double shooting at a Goulds bar that left 2 people dead. A fight that turned deadly is being blamed.
Police found the victims after a call to the Shack Lounge, a bar in the 20000 block of South Dixie Highway.
People in the bar heard the shots fired at about 3 a.m. and started to scatter. As people fled the bar, the victims were found and Miami-Dade police were called.
Police closed US1 for a time as part of the investigation, but it has since re-opened.
Police have not yet identified the victims.
