MIAMI (CBSMiami) – In a season that has seen him play every position on the floor defensively, it shouldn’t be a shock that Miami Heat star LeBron James is on the NBA’s All-Defensive team.

According to the Associated Press’ Tim Reynolds, LeBron received the most votes for the NBA’s All-Defensive first-team. LeBron, who was named the NBA’s MVP last week, was selected for the first-team by NBA coaches.

Joining LeBron on the NBA’s first-team All-Defensive team were forward Serge Ibaka, guard Chris Paul, guard Tony Allen, and center Dwight Howard, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.

In media voting for the NBA Defensive Player of the Year, LeBron finished fourth.
