Broward Turnpike Ramp To Close For Paving Project

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Road work next Wednesday on the Florida Turnpike will force the closure of the northbound exit ramp to Atlantic Boulevard.

The state's Department of Transportation said the ramp will close at 9 p.m. and re-open Thursday morning at 6 a.m. for an asphalt  project. If they are unable to complete it in one night, an additional closure will be required Thursday night.

During the closure, drivers are urged to exit at Coconut Creek Parkway and take Northwest 31st Avenue south to Atlantic Boulevard.
