Trivia Question Decides Ticket Winner For Heat Playoffs
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – In the end, it wasn't enough to endure 2 days and night in the heat and cold, without sleep or even your smartphone to while away the time. In the end, the winner of lower bowl playoff tickets for the entire Miami Heat Chase for the Championship came down to a trivia question.
7 people made it to end end of the challenge; 48 hours in front of the American Airlines Arena for the chance to win the tickets. That meant the organizers had to pick a tiebreaker question:
What is the combined age of the entire 2011-12 team?
Everybody made a guess, and Gonzalo Barcia of Miami came the closest, guessing 397. The actual answer was 434, but in this case the best guess was enough.
Barcia won a pair of Lower Bowl tickets to every HEAT home game during White Hot: The 2012 HEAT Playoffs. His seats are located at Section 123, Row 18, Seats 5 and 6.
The other contestants who made it to the end won tickets to Saturday's game 1.
