FT. LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz will open the doors at the Broward County Convention Center Saturday to anyone looking to open the doors of their new business.

Wasserman Schultz will host a free small business workshop at the BCCC  where business owners and entrepreneurs will learn the tools needed to turn an idea into a business.

The workshop will run from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m.

Various organizations including the Department of Commerce, Small Business Development Center, and local Chambers of Commerce will attend the workshop, along with Marie Johns, deputy administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration as the keynote speaker.
