MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Those popular food trucks filled with delicious culinary creations feeding hungry folks all over South Florida have been banned from the popular event Art Walk in Wynwood.

Art Walk takes place every second Saturday of the month but the food truck roundup that accompanies it has been canceled because they don’t have the right permits.

The City of Miami’s code enforcement department informed the food trucks on Thursday that they could not gather in the lot at 2238 NW Second Ave. during Art Walk this Saturday because they did not have the proper permits.

Art Walk itself will go on usual, just without the food trucks.

It’s not known if the food trucks will get the proper permits in time for the next Art Walk event next month.

The City of Miami will probably come up with some “special permit to park food trucks in parking lots” so they can get some money for its coffers. It’s all about money.

Oooo. Palmer; how cynical of you!

Although, money is the bottom line. And there’s nothing particularly wrong with that.

Personally, I just don’t get over to Wynwood enough; I really gotta’ start spending more time over there (sic).

Keep those nasty immigrant trucks outta my hood.
