Fugitive Wanted For Sexually Assaulting Child Arrested In Miramar

MIRAMAR (CBSMiami) – A fugitive who has been on the run for more than two years was taken into custody.

Wednesday evening, U.S. Marshalls and Miramar police arrested Fritz Alisme, 39, at an apartment in the 1800 block of NW 46th Street.

While on house arrest in 2009 for  'lewd and lascivious' and 'sexual battery on a child' charges involving his own daughter, Alisme cut off his ankle monitor and disappeared.

Based on tips, authorities were able to track him to the apartment where he had apparently been living since last October.

"I'm really scared because we've never had anybody like this," said Danquette Harding who lives in the apartment building. "Anybody around us, we always talk to them and stuff like this. This man always had been weird since the first day he came here."

Alisme is being held at the county's jail without bond.
