MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Lady Gaga is launching her own social networking site called “Little Monsters.”

The site, now in invite-only beta testing, is the pop star’s effort at creating a network built around her fan base.

An early look at the site suggests it will be designed a lot like Pinterest, the fast-emerging mobile app that lets users “pin” locations and items that they like.

Among other things, the site will emphasize sharing and creating photos and videos, as well as letting other users promote content from others that they like.

Lady Gaga already has a massive presence on the Internet. She’s already the reigning queen of Twitter where she has 19 million followers, more than anyone else on the site. She’s also the first to hit a billion YouTube video views.
