Diet and Cooking Tips for Patients on Dialysis 03/07/2012

Individuals living with dialysis are often concerned about following a renal diet low in phosphorous, potassium and salt.   A cooking demonstration will be offered to showcase how to prepare meals for patients receiving dialysis treatment who must adhere to this type of diet.   The demonstration is a collaboration of the Miami Children’s Hospital hemodialysis unit with the support of a pediatric social worker, registered dietitian and the staff of the Michael Fux Family Center.   To register for this free event, please e-mail
