Tallahassee Man Claims $50 Million Christmas Eve Lottery Jackpot

TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami) – A Tallahassee man had a very, very Merry Christmas.

Richard McMullen won the Florida Lotto drawing on Christmas Eve to win the $50 million dollar jackpot.

The winning numbers were 2-11-15-19-24-26.

According to McMullen, 54, he has been playing the same six LOTTO numbers for more than 10 years.

"This is definitely our most memorable Christmas ever," said McMullen.

As for what he'll do with the money, McMullen said it has always been understood that any jackpot winnings would be shared among the family.

The Lottery Dept. reported that Saturday's drawing marked the 1,000th jackpot-winning ticket since the game's inception in April 1988.
