Twilight Convention Underway, 1,000 Fans Expected

ORLANDO (CBS4/AP) — Whether you're a Team Edward fan or a Team Jacob fan, Twilight lovers alike are gathering at the Twilight Saga Convention in Orlando where more than 1,000 fans are expected.

The three-day event celebrates the vampire series created by Stephenie Meyer. It'll feature a vampire ball, a costume contest, vendors selling Twilight merchandise and several autograph sessions and photo opportunities with stars of the films.

The convention, which is held at the Hilton at Walt Disney World, began Friday and concludes Sunday.

Special guests starts are expected at the convention. Nikki Reed, who plays vampire Rosalie Hale, and Charlie Bewley, who plays Demetri of The Volturi, will be at the convention Saturday.

General admission tickets are available in advance through www.twilightconvention.com and at the door for $20.  General Admission tickets to the Saturday Night Vampire Ball are $79 and the Sunday Continental Breakfast and Charity
Auction are $69.

The tour is a 14-city Official Twilight Saga Fan Convention tour. Orlando is the final stop of the year for the touring convention.
