Cooler Air Descends On South Florida

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The cool snap is officially underway.

South Florida will be feeling the 50s for the next several nights. Chief Meteorologist David Bernard says inland areas may even see some 40s by Thursday morning. He says the chill will be early in the morning and that lots of bright sunshine will quickly warm temperatures into the lower and middle 70s during the day.

By the weekend, overnight lows will warm to the 60s and daytime highs will flirt with 80 degrees. Bernard says the humidity should stay seasonably low throughout the week with no rain expected.
