Tropical Storm Sean To Pass Bermuda Friday

MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – Tropical Storm Sean is maintaining strength as it continues its northeasterly trek across the Atlantic.

At 10 p.m., the system was about 205 miles west-southwest of Bermuda.  Sean's maximum sustained winds were 65 mph.  Tropical storm force winds extended 255 miles from Sean's center.

Sean was moving to the east-northeast at 13 mph and the National Hurricane Center said this motion is expected to continue for the next couple of days.  On the forecast track, the center of Sean will pass northwest of Bermuda on Friday.

A Tropical Storm Warning is posted for Bermuda which could see up to three inches of rain from the storm.

Swells generated by Sean are expected to affect portions of southeastern coasts of the U.S. and Bermuda.
