Santa Look-A-Like Busted For Burglarizing Cars
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A South Florida car burglar, who bears a striking resemblance to Santa Claus, has been arrested and charged in Fort Lauderdale.
BSO detectives arrested Joseph Price, 49, Thursday October 13th, after he was captured on surveillance video committing four vehicle burglaries in recent days in the area of 191 SE 20th Avenue.
Residents in the area had already been warned about the car burglar and an alert resident called 911 after spotting the Santa look-a-like in the area.
Police say always lock your car doors and do not leave valuables in your vehicle.
Price has been charged with seven counts of burglary and theft.
