Macy's Plans On Holiday Hiring Spree

NEW YORK (CBSMiami.com) – The holiday shopping season is still months away, but Macy's Inc is already starting to put together holiday hiring plans that will make workers very happy.

According to Reuters, Macy's plans on hiring 78,000 seasonal workers nationwide this year for the busy holiday shopping season.

Macy's which has multiple stores in both Broward and Miami-Dade County currently employs more than 170,000 workers across the country.

The company expects sales to increase four percent over last year's holiday numbers, Reuters reported.
