Lauderhill Teen With Gunshot Wound Airlifted To Hospital

LAUDERHILL (CBS4) – A Broward Sheriff's helicopter airlifted a Lauderhill teen to the Broward General Medical Center after he was reportedly shot in the head.

Lauderhill police spokesman Captain Rick Rocco said the shooting occurred Thursday afternoon in the 2300 block of NW 55th Way.

Rocco said they were trying to determine if the wound was self-inflicted or if the teen had been shot by another person.

The teen's name has not been released.
