
MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – The ongoing battle between Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado and the Miami Police Department escalated late Tuesday when Regalado wrote to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder asking for a federal investigation of nine police-involved shootings.
Mayor Regalado wants the Department of Justice to review the policies and practices of the Miami Police Department.

Seven of those shootings have resulted in deaths.
