Zoo Flick, Dining & Tranquility Leads S. Fla. Weekend Fun

MIAMI (CBS4)- It's summertime and that means the box office is booming, and this weekend goes to the animals.

In the family-friendly flick "Zoo Keeper" a group of zoo animals decide to break their code of silence in order to help their lovable zookeeper find love – starring Kevin James and Rosario Dawson, Zoo Keeper is rated PG.

It's a fruit fiesta at Fairchild Tropical Gardens, which is celebrating mouthwatering mangos this weekend. Learn all about the tropical fruit during the International Mango Festival. Expect cooking demonstrations and plenty of taste testing. Kids five-year-old and under are free

Get a taste of the town on Saturday as South Miami holds a rooftop party to benefit the Million Trees Miami Project from 7 to 11 p.m.

Restaurants like Casa Larios, Segafredo, Shulas and Dan Marinos are offering guests culinary creations and signature cocktails against a backdrop of live music. Taste of the Town is $25 per person and $40 per couple.

It's all happening on the rooftop of the garage at 58th Avenue and 73rd Street.

It's time to indulge and soothe your mind, body and spirit.

Miami Spa month is in full swing.  Spa month is actually two months of specialized treatments in participating spas for $99 or less.

You can also enjoy the pools, gyms, and saunas all day. So relax because there's no rush. Miami Spa Month runs until August 21st.
