Brandon Marshall Gives Statement On Stabbing

MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall has finally spoken to the Broward State Attorney's Office about being allegedly stabbed by his wife Michi Nogami-Marshall on April 22.

Marshall had been served a subpoena for his testimony before finally agreeing to give a statement, according to the Palm Beach Post.

The investigation hasn't been able to proceed because Marshall had refused to tell investigators his side of the story. At the time of the alleged stabbing, Brandon Marshall said he fell on a glass vase, but police arrested Michi after she said that she had stabbed him in self defense.

Michi was arrested a second time in June for violating a court order to not enter the couple's home.

Brandon has healed, but has remained out of the spotlight. He has a history of legal run-ins with the NFL and the case is being monitored by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
