Police Identify Body Found On Ft. Lauderdale Beach

FT. LAUDERDALE (CBS4) - Not your average morning on a stretch of Ft. Lauderdale beach after a body was found on the sand just beyond the surf.

Police spokesman Detectiv Travis Mandell said the body of 46 year old Nolan Morrnad was found just after 6:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of North Atlantic Boulevard, south of Vista Park.   Morrand, who lives in Miramar, was only dressed in a pair of jeans.

Detectives are waiting for the Medical Examiner's Office to determine a cause of death.  They would like to speak with anyone who was with Morrand in the last 24 or so to establish a timeline of his death.
