Bedridden Woman, Son Injured In Miami House Fire
MIAMI (CBS4) - A bedridden woman and her son were rushed to local hospitals after the woman's Miami home went up in flames Monday night.
The unidentified woman was home located on the 63-hundred block of Southwest 20th Street when the fire broke out.
Miami Fire Lt. Ignatius Carroll said her son pulled up to the home and ran inside to save his mother but ended up being seriously burned himself.
The woman was transported to Mercy Hospital and her son was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Their conditions are unknown.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
