MIAMI (CBS4) - From lions and tigers to the Fast and the Furious, the weekend in South Florida is jam-packed full of excitement and fun for all ages.

Zoo Miami is holding its second Brew at the Zoo on Saturday. You can walk amongst the beast while sampling beer from around the globe. Pre-sale tickets cost $30, or you can pay $40 at the door.

The weekend is also going to the dogs, and cats. The Humane Society of Greater Miami is hoping you open your hearts and arms at their Pet Mega Adopt-A-Thon happening Saturday and Sunday and as a bonus the society is reducing their adoption fees for the weekend.

If you're looking for something with a little more punch, then start your engines because here we go again! Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are revising their roles in the popular "The Fast and the Furious" franchise. "Fast Five" revs ups at the box office starting Friday. It's rated PG-13.

How about getting your hands dirty, and delicious? Saturday you'll get a chance to practice your dough techniques!

Chef Jonathan Eismann from Spartico at Mayfair Hotel & Spa in Coconut Grove is holding personal cooking classes Saturday. It includes a four-course meal, including a glass of wine and pizza made with your own hands. Reservations are required.

And if you want to take part in a good cause, Joshua Williams of The Joshua's Heart Foundation will be celebrating his 10th birthday; and the foundations 5th anniversary with a fun-filled party at Palm Island Park in Miami Beach.

The foundation was founded by Joshua when he was just five-years-old. His hope is to "Stomp Out Hunger." And when you're there you can say hello to CBS4's Jim Berry who will take part in the party, which starts at noon.

Brew with beasts or flying dough, there's plenty to get ready for this weekend!
