SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE – (CBSMiami.com) -A  husband made a gruesome discovery early Sunday when he walked into his Southwest Miami-Dade home.

Police say he found his wife dead inside their home on the 138th block of Southwest 156th Street just after 1 a.m. Sunday.

Police identified the woman as 50-year-old Elizabeth Roxana Palomino who co-owned Salsamor Dance Studio and Banquet Hall with him. Police describe the woman’s killing as “brutal” but did not disclose details.

Police have not identified Palomino’s husband, but have said that he had been questioned and released. Police say they continue to investigate and have not named a suspect.
