Child Porn Images Reportedly Found On ICE Chief's Computer

FT. LAUDERDALE (CBS4) - MIAMI (CBS4) – Federal investigators have reportedly found four images of child pornography on a personal computer belonging to the man who heads Miami's office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Over the weekend investigators seized 50-year old Anthony Mangione's computer from his Parkland home after his internet service provider, AOL, alerted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that pornographic images involving children were sent to his email, according to CBS4 news partner The Miami Herald.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted a multi-agency task force which investigates child-porn on internet. The task force then contacted AOL which identified Mangione's account as the one that reportedly received the images.

Mangione took the reigns of the South Florida regional ICE office in 2007. He has frequently spoken out against "predators" who share pornographic images of children over the internet.

Mangione, who was planning to retire this summer, has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
