With the sunny skies the temperature will be able to hit 91 degrees this afternoon. More and more moisture will return to the area over the next few days so mainly dry weather will be replaces by showers this weekend and thunderstorms next week.
Tracking The Tropics 6-22-17 1PMTropical Storm Cindy made landfall this morning around 5 AM about 30 miles west southwest of Lake Charles, LA. The storm will continue to weaken over land but as it moves north and eventually northeast it will continue to dump a lot of rain over the Mississippi and Tennessee Valley. Flash flooding is likely from East Texas northeast through parts of West Virginia. After Cindy there is no significant tropical systems expected to develop over the next 5 days.
