Instead of heading to the mall this Valentine’s Day, take the family to a cultural phenomenon. The Coconut Grove Arts Festival is in its 51st year and it offers miles of art vendors for young and old. There will be food, recreational, visual and performing arts in addition to crafts so lovely that your child just might purchase another Valentine’s Day gift for you. There are no official events geared to celebrate love at this festival but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be plenty of it to spread around. That’s what happens when 360 international artists descend on a small South Florida town and let their imagination run wild.
