Top Frozen Cocktails In South Florida

In the summer months, a frozen cocktail is a great way to cool off from the usually hot, often muggy climate in South Florida. Every working professional after braving I-95, I-595 or the 836 earns the right to meet friends in the early evening and start off with a margarita, daiquiri or mojito that will ease the stress and heighten the senses to laugh or vent at the day's events. Then, move onto succulent food that will completely whisk one away and prepare them to brave the next day or start off the weekend.

The atmosphere is laid back and there is live music on the weekends, but customers must be ready to brave the elements when going to Jake's whether it's cold (during the two weeks of Miami winter) or hot (usual Miami weather).

What more is there to say when a restaurant offers over 100 types of tequila to go into a frozen margarita. The prickly pear margarita, made with cactus fruit and strawberries, is a frozen concoction that will hit one's lips and immediately whisk them from their after-work state to a beautiful sunset on the Pacific ocean while eating baby octopus ceviche. Or eat the wide selection of burritos, tacos and fajita-style cazuela orders for dinner. With two locations in Florida, this restaurant should be on everyone's list.
