Ocean Drive will officially be renamed Orange Drive for this exciting 3-day New Year's Celebration beginning Dec. 30th . The streets and beach will become one big block party hosted by Daymond John. The festival will be located on Ocean Drive between 5th and 10th Streets. Events will include a New Year’s Eve 'Jam on the Sand' with live performances by Cee Lo Green, Gym Class Heroes and Cobra Starship.
Big Orange New Year's Eve Celebration At Bayfront Park

A City of Miami tradition, the 35-foot neon Big Orange (one of the official time balls of our nation) will rise 400 feet to the top of its home site, the Hotel InterContinental Miami. It’ll reach the top at midnight, followed by a spectacular fireworks display over Biscayne Bay and a laser light show. The gates open at 7:00 p.m.; the show starts at 8:00 p.m. Prior to the Big Orange ascension, the evening’s festivities will include a live DJ. Red Bull Soundclash presents an incomparable live music showcase featuring a first-time ever match up between Ludacris and Mike Posner. The pre-show festivities begin at 7:00 p.m. The main show begins at 9 p.m. and will culminate with the fireworks display and official countdown to the New Year. The show features two bands with different music styles facing off on two stages positioned on opposite ends of the venue with the audience in the middle. In a series of four rounds, the bands perform various tasks, some rehearsed, and some improvised, to showcase the array of their musical abilities. General admission is free and open to the public.
