Akashi is both a city in Japan and a word that means “bright stone” and this restaurant offers a colorful array of sushi from the popular Rainbow roll to the raw slices of fish known as Sashimi. If you’re in the mood for a cooked meal, consider one of the many options including the chicken or shrimp teriyakis or tempura dinners. Prices range from $2.50 miso soup to an $80 sushi boat for three.

    If you really want the freshest sushi, go to sushi Deli on 79th Street Causeway. it is a hole in the wall combo Japanese grocery store with a few seats. Always packed and the chef is a genius. Great Japenese groceries too!

    Akashi is one of my favorites- but if any of you reading have a chance, go to Shinju in Sunset and SW 87th Ave in Miami- during lunch is the best time to go $13 p/p all you can eat fresh sushi

    Tamarind Thai Sushi is the BEST! It is located in Deerfield Beach on Federal Hwy on the west side!

    Shibui on Sunset & 102 Ave is amazing and a new place that opened a couple of months ago is Tsuki in Doral I think they blow everyone else out of the water. NW 74 ST & 107 AVE
