This day-to-night walking tour starts with the Rubell Family Collection. It's entrance is on 29th St., where most art seekers enter the Wynwood District, and is across the street from O Cinema, but we'll get to that later. Arrive early as the museum closes at 5:30 p.m., which makes it ideal for the first stop on the walking tour. Inside you will find art from notables like Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Jeff Koons. It's a smaller sampling of a family collection that in now the largest, privately owned contemporary art collection in the world with galleries in New York and beyond and a great place to begin your entrance into art education.

In 2012, Keni Valenti took his brand of "retro couture" from New York and moved it south to Miami. 40,000 pieces of designer fashion later and you have what is now, which is known as the Museum of Fashion. Every two months this warehouse puts on a new exhibition showcasing the flair of fashion. It's location is southeast of the Rubell Family collection and leads you into the heart of Wynwood, N.W. 2nd Ave. It's a great stop for lovers of fashion and nice change of pace after looking at rooms and rooms of contemporary art.

The next stop on the walking art tour is just a few steps away. The Dina Mitrani Gallery is a photography-based gallery focused on education from it's featured exhibitors to the occasional passerby. The exhibitions rotate so depending on when you go, you can view slice-of-life photography, nature scenes, or abstract photography. Questions and open discussions with the artist are encouraged so this is a great opportunity for those looking to enhance their knowledge of still photography or to dip their toes into the water for the first time.

Graffiti has traditionally been viewed as a work of hoodrats and only appreciated as street art; an undisciplined artistic form that will never be displayed in a gallery. However, over the past few years, the world has started to notice the natural beauty, skill and talent that it takes create such art and in the Wynwood Arts District they have put this art on display as its piece of resistance. The Wynwood Walls are an outdoor installation of graffiti painted walls and doors by artists with eclectic monikers like Daze, Lady Pink and Saner & Sego. It's one of Wynwood's most popular destinations and a must during the crowded art walks. This is a not-to-be-missed installation for lovers of all art and for street artists who are finally getting the recognition they deserve.

The walking tour ends where it began across the street from the Rubell Family Collection at O Cinema. This inconspicuous white building decorated with graffiti and big pink and black 'O' is easy to miss despite the signage. Many walk right pass it without ever noticing that this warehouse space contains a full theater and snack bar that serves beer. Films typically start at 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and include independent, foreign language, local and classic sleeper hits so you're sure to get your film noir or grindhouse flick fix. The best part of all, is when the film's over, you are only steps away from your car.
