Marlins Season Of Futility Continues

The Miami Marlins haven’t been a threat to break many records this season, but the team shattered a team record for futility on Sunday. With the 1-0, 13-inning loss to the Brewers, the Marlins have gone 37 innings without scoring a run.

Only two games into the season, the Miami Marlins are living down to the expectations many fans and pundits had ahead of the season. Through 18 innings of play, the Marlins have yet to score a single run.

Marlins Finally Score, Beat Phils 9-2

The Miami Marlins finally crossed home plate in the fourth inning of Wednesday’s afternoon game with the Philadelphia Phillies. The simple scoring of a run was something that had become unfamiliar to the Marlins as of late.
